Today, we're going to present our next application we examined in section 'Application vs. Privacy Policy'. Application Anywayanyday is available to download for iOS and Android and has its privacy policy published here. Unfortunately it published in Russian only, so we will rely on Google Translate and we will cite the most important statements of privacy policy below to compare it with our results on data protection.

First of all, we will remind what data items groups were found in this application. Here we go: - Credentials group: Credentials (IDs), Credentials (Passwords), - Passport group: Passport Details - Account group: Owner Profile - Financial group: Card Short Information - Payment group: Card Full Information - Device group: Device Data, Environment

Anywayanyday. Privacy Policy

We found only two statements referred to data items and how it protected by developer. Frankly talking, developer collections everything he wants to and making customers believe he protects data on good level

Any personal information that the user provides when logging in and / or in the process of booking and / or other services on the Site, or with the help of mobile applications, including, but not limited to, the following information: name, surname, patronymic, date birth, sex, citizenship, series, passport number, address of residence or registration, home or mobile phone, email address, etc. To protect users' personal data against unauthorized or accidental access, destruction, modification, blocking, copying, distribution, and other illegal actions of third parties to them we apply the necessary and sufficient organizational and technical measures.

Well, first statement is truly, we found a lot of information collected and most of it is unnessecary. Talking about second we didn't find good protection, moreover the way how the protection techniques were implemented causes security problems on older iOS & Android builds
